HASIL OBSESI

Setiap orang punya obsesi masing masing. Mungkin ada yang terobsesi jadi peri baik, cinderella, queen of something kingdoms, or maybe a winner of oscar. I dont know, banyak banget obsesi on this earth. Tapi, gue punya satu obsesi yang mungkin jarang orang miliki, yaitu jadi putri duyung. Yap a little mermaid. Awalnya dari nonton film putri duyung pas gue kecil, eh lama lama kepingin jadi little mermaid atau bahasa sok gaulnya "lil" mermaid". Sampe sampe pas beberapa minggu yang lalu, gue sama temen kecil gue namanya Alifia, kita menyebut diri kita sendiri si lil' mermaid. HAHA emang agak stress sih tapi seru kok. Kita ngga bisa lama lama di daratan, ada waktunya kita harus ke air. Pokoknya macem macem deh, kita memperlakukan diri kita sendiri seperti layaknya lil'mermaid. Itu sih kelas 8 kmrn ya.
Pas gue kelas 7 atau satu SMP, gue disuruh bikin karangan bahasa inggris tentang "lost in bermuda triangle" kata gurunya kita bebas banget mau ngarang gimana tentang itu. akhirnya karena terobsesi jadi little mermaid, jadilah karangan ini:\

Experiment that difficult to trust!!
On January 2010, I went to Florida, to meet my cousins here. In Florida, I read a newspaper every day. One day, I read a newspaper, I startled with a news. I read, there was a man who curious with Bermuda triangle. And he went there on 2005, but for a long time, he didn’t back to Florida again. But finally, now in 2010, he is come back. He can’t to tell the other about his experiment when he was in Bermuda Triangle. He said,” I can’t to tell you. My experiment it’s so difficult to trust. You have to try itself.”
I know about Bermuda Triangle but not too much. I found the information about that. I find on the map. And of course I asked to my cousins here. I so excited. I want to have a great experiment. Like him. And finally I have decided to go to Bermuda Triangle.
I prepared myself, and of course the preparation. I bought the ship’s ticket to go to Puerto Rico. But I want to jump in the centre of the sea. I want to see Bermuda Triangle, and I want to know how he can back here again. I want to feel like him.
I feel so fearless. And, finally I succeeded jumped to Bermuda Triangle. I felt, there is gravitation on there, that which pull me into Bermuda Triangle. I didn’t know what it is. But, I didn’t fight the strong current on there. I close my eyes, and I believe I will fine.
But suddenly, I opened my eyes. I felt so comfortable and I felt here was warm. I see on my body there was a thick blanket from cotton. And I know, I was on the bed. I saw around, and I don’t believe what I see. I was in beautiful room. There was a table in there, there was a cupboard too, and there were many jewels.
Where I am? I thought. But finally there was a girl who look like so beautiful. She was have a green hair, and her hair It is so long. The hair is curly, make she more beautiful. Her eyes were beautiful too. Her color eyes were green too. She was tall. She was wear green long dress. She gave me a smile. And I gave too.
Then, she sat near me. I asked, “Where I am?” She gave me smile again. And then she answered, “you are in my room.” I felt so curious and I want to know. I saw her feet, and you know what I saw? I saw her feet like mermaid. I shocked. “Am I in the mermaid lagoon?” I asked doubt fully. She saw me outstanding.
“Yes, you’re right honey!”the mermaid answered.
“Ha? Are you sure? I’m so exciting with Bermuda Triangle, and I want to know about how the man can back again from Bermuda Triangle. Because in a fact, there is no one come back again from Bermuda Triangle," I garrulous.
“ Yes, I am sure. You’re in mermaid lagoon. There is no one come back again from Bermuda Triangle? I have a reason of that fact. Do you want to know?”
“Yes of course. But before you tell me about that, please give me your name. My name is Dira, what about you, beautiful mermaid?”
“Yes, of course I will. My name is Greenious. Dira? My first time hear it name. Haha, just funny Dira. Don’t be sad Dira!”
“Haha, no problem. Greenious? Wow, excited name!”
“Thanks. Now you have to take a bath first, and I will let you to see around Mermaid Lagoon. You have to see Mermaid Lagoon at out. Probably, you excited with Mermaid Lagoon. And then, while I let you to moving around, I will tell you about Bermuda Triangle, and of course about Mermaid Lagoon. Now, you have take a bath on there. There is a bathroom, and then you can choose what do you want in my wardrobe for you wear. There are many clothes in there. Okey? See you!”
“Greenious! Thank you very very much. I don’t know how I repay you for all you’ve done to me. I just can say thanks.”
“No honey. You will know after that! Take a bath first! Hurry up!”
After I take a bath and I choose one of beautiful clothes, I found my best friend. I saw around her room. I saw many photos of her and maybe her family. Suddenly, Greenious went in the room.
“Hey, have you done it?”
“Yes, I done it! Now, you have to tell me about all of your world. I really want to know and understand. I felt it just a dream. Never I think I will can live at Mermaid Lagoon. It’s so amazing for me, and of course for all the human.”
“Okey, let’s go out from my room and I will tell you.”
We out of there, and I saw the beautiful living room, and I saw a wonderful house! It’s so amazing. I saw many Mermaid on there and I gave my smile for all. Greenious told me one by one about her family. Her sister, her brother, her parents, and her friend too.
“Okey, I will tell you while we moving around the mermaid lagoon. Actually, the man who you tell me is right. He curious with Bermuda Triangle. Who curious and want to know Bermuda Triangle, they will fine, and they will live at mermaid lagoon. They will fine. But who not willing to know about Bermuda Triangle, they will die.”
“Ha? Are you sure? Wow!”
“Yes. Like you. You exciting and you willing to know about Bermuda triangle, so you can fine in here. You will live for a while in here. You can live in here, but you have to work in here too. You can’t just live in there. Like the man who you tell me. He worked as a worker, farmer, driver, and others. He was comfortable with mermaid lagoon. Actually, he can back to his country again for just 3 months, or 1 year. But he not pleasure to back again. And then after 5 years, he decided to go back to his country because he won’t to make his family sad. Like that.”
“Wow! But maybe I will live in there, just for 2 months or 3 months. May I?”
“Yes, of course. Why not?”
“Oh, thank you very much. Now, what must I do?”
“You must find occupations, that you like, and you can. You have do the best. After 1 month you work, you will get salary. Usually, the salary per month is 5 jewels. And you can buy what do you want. During you live in here, you live with me in my house.”
“Really?”
“Yes! Of course Dira. But now, you have to find alone. I have to work too. Can you?”
“Yes, I can. Thank you very much Greenious!”
Greenious just nodded. And she ran leave me. And then, I found occupation for me. I saw there was a big restaurant, and it was busy. I thought, maybe I can work in there as waiter. I went in with high confidence. I proposed and I received. I was so happy. And then, I was finding Greenious. Actually, I didn’t know where Greenious work. But I decided to found her. Finally, I met Greenious in front of the post office.
“Greenious!!”
“Hi Dira! Hey, what’s going on?”
“I get occupation!!”
“Wow?!? Are you sure? Great! Where?”
“Yes, I’m sure. I work at Havendish Restaurant. I work as a waiter.”
“Oh God! Havendish Restaurant? It is a biggest restaurant in here. The expensive restaurant. How much do you get every month?”
“Yes, you’re right! I will get 10 jewels every month!”
“Wow! You will rich Dira. Haha! But now, I have to finishing my work. Leave one work. You wait me at home, and I will go back soon. Is it okey?”
“Okey! No problem. See you!”
I went back to home with happy heart! And then I shared everything with Greenious. I liked her. She was nice. Every day I worked with maximum. Every months, I gave Greenious a present for sign of my thanks. Actually, it can’t. But, I just can do that.
I was already live on there 3 months. But I didn’t realize. I enjoyed with my life there. I hoped I can live for long time. But I have a family. I sure my family was anxious. Maybe my mom sad, maybe my cousins found me. I don’t know. But, the certain is I have to go back, I thought.
Finally, I want to spoke with Greenious about that. And Greenious sad too. She already care with me. But she understood too about me. Suddenly, I thought something. How I can back to my country again? I was in mermaid lagoon.
“Hey, wait wait. I thought something. How I come back to my country? I asked.”
“Oh ya! I forgot to tell you about that! Sorry. You have to buy a plane ticket in here. You can buy it in the office near from post office. After that, the plane will deliver you to an island. Actually, the island it’s so small. No one live there. But the island is near from Puerto Rico. You have to attempt to go back to your country. The way is up to you. You have creative! After that, you can go back with plane from Puerto Rico. Is it clear?”
“Hah!? Wow! Are you sure the way is like that?”
“Yes, I’m sure. You can’t?”
“I CAN!!”
I bought the ticket. And after that, I prepared to the next journey. I brought the jewels which I get with my sweat. It will be a token for me. And I will sad, because I have to leave the mermaid lagoon, I thought. Greenious gave me a necklace. It’s so beautiful. It made of diamond. I was happy.
In the morning, I said good bye for all. For Greenious’ family, for my friends here, and the others who know me. I went to port and Greenious deliver me. I said good bye with tears. I said, “When I have a child, I promise to let my child to go here. I will miss you Greenious. Thanks for all of you done for me. I can’t to repay. One more, thank you very much. Bye. See you letter.” And Greenious just answered, “Okey, yes. Bye!” Greenious cried too.
Just need 30 minutes to arrived an island. I realized that island was so quietly, and no one there except me. The plane was already go back to Mermaid Lagoon. I didn’t know what must I do. I thought and thought. And then after maybe about 1 hour, there were fisherman who was fishing. I shouted loudly. “Hey! Hey! Fisherman! Help me please!! Help me!!!”I said while gave a sign.
Finally, fisherman helped me and pick me to Puerto Rico. They were live at Puerto Rico too. I just can said, “ I’m lash but I don’t know how I lash I here.” I can’t tell about my great experiment. They were so nice and I said thanks. For repay what they’ve done, I gave one jewels from Mermaid Lagoon. I said, “Sorry, I just can give it. Thank you very much.” And then they were said, “You’re welcome!”
In Puerto Rico I found helped to phone my family at America. Until at last, there was a teenager who want to helped me. I called my family and said I was fine. And of course, please give me a ticket to go back to Florida. My family was happy and relax. But my family was wont to do it. My mom said,” we will pick you on Puerto Rico. Okey, I was deal.
I waited for long time. I waited about 3 hours with hungrily and thirstily. Finally, my family can met me near the airport. My family was so happy, and want to knew about my experiment. I attempt to told, but there was no one believe me. Until at last, my family give applause to me, because I braved.
Now, you can see the Jakarta Post 5th April edition. There is me! The title is “A child can back from Bermuda Triangle.” I’m really happy. I hope not just me that have a great experiment with Bermuda Triangle. And I hope, I have the other great experiment.
Since that, my family, specially my sister want to feel it. But, my mother not give her permission because my mom anxious my sister not lucky like me. My sister not give up. She thinks the great experiment not just can back from Bermuda Triangle, but still a lot great experiment that Allah SWT give to her. And I think like that too. I believe, there is a lot of great experiment in this world, that I can feel it.
